Kailash Ashram Rishikesh
Kailash Ashram is one of the oldest and first big ashram in Rishikesh. It is also known as Shri Kailash Brahmvidhya Peeth. Kailash Ashram was established by Swami Dhanraj �Giri in 1880. He was following Advaita Vedanta path and was teaching vendanta in Rishikesh. Currently �Acharya Mahamandaleswar Vidhyanand Giri Ji� is head of the ashram since 2007. Kailash Ashram has 12 branches in India.
Kailash Ashram activities include Study of vedas, Publication and preservation of religious books & initiation to Sanyasa. Ashram has more than 11000 books old book including 900 manuscripts. Ashram also has free homeopathic medical services & cow shelter. Kailash Ashram only allows Brahmacharis to stay in the Ashram.
