Om Yoga Academy Rishikesh is dedicated to providing an authentic and traditional Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programs. The course is certified by Yoga Alliance USA, and so it is universally recognized. Rishikesh is the Yoga capital of the world, and so it is the perfect location for you to begin your journey into the world of teaching. Om Yoga Academy is located in the heart of Rishikesh, a stone’s throw away from the world’s holiest river – the Ganga.
Our courses are residential and all our accommodation is onsite. Class sizes are small at Om Yoga Academy. This means students have lots of direct contact with teachers. Unlike some schools, especially in Rishikesh, that can have over thirty students, the academy has a maximum capacity of ten. Small size group learning allows for a more sincere passing of knowledge. This is in line with the ancient traditions of Yoga, that has always stressed the passing of knowledge from master to student in a very direct and personal manner. As a result they leave a much more accomplished Yoga practitioner and teacher.
